Karma Doesn’t Sleep: The Revenge Queen Rises novel Chapter 414

Amelia picked up the phone. “Hey, Will.”

Ryan nudged a pebble out of the way with his shoe.

She called him by his first name, totally blunt, not even a hint of formality.

“…Yeah, I found him. I’ll head back now.”

Still talking, Amelia turned and walked toward the restaurant.

When she finally put her phone away, she caught Ryan in her peripheral vision, trailing just half a step behind her, matching her pace like it was second nature.

Amelia glanced back, confused.

Ryan met her eyes, looking completely at ease. “What? Thought you could skip out on this dinner?”

Amelia just stared, lost for words.

For a second, she couldn’t help but think Ryan was… a little clingy.

But she’d promised dinner. So, bracing herself, she led Ryan back inside.

At the door, two servers watched with wide eyes as Amelia came back, this time with another ridiculously good-looking guy. Their faces said it all.

If looks could send messages, those two would’ve started a group chat already.

Red-faced, Amelia tried to hide her face and sped up.

Will was already eye-catching enough, but Ryan took things to a whole new level. It was like the whole restaurant was suddenly paying attention.

Nearly every head turned in Ryan’s direction.

Timmy stared long and hard at Ryan, then quietly pulled out his little notebook.

No snarky comments this time. This guy was a solid ten out of ten.

But being too good-looking was suspicious—Timmy knocked off three points. Guys that handsome couldn’t be trusted.

On the other side of the table, Will immediately stood when he saw Ryan. He didn’t even need Amelia to introduce them.

Will’s expression was complicated, his voice stiff. “Mr. Packman. So you’re the friend Amelia invited?”

Ryan smiled, all charm. “Small world, Mr. Dillion. Didn’t expect to see you again so soon.”

Wait, they already knew each other?

Amelia looked between them. “You guys are working together?”
