She was sitting there going over her notes for the upcoming exam tomorrow when the opened the really did hate not having wolfen hearing or sense of smell. She’d not even realized Jace was in the suite. Her eyes moved to his briefly and then back to her laptop, without saying anything.
“Do you like it?” he asked, walking across the room to sit opposite her. She could feel his eyes on her and
after a full minute of silence he sighed “Still mad I see” he murmured, “We are Mate’s Nors, and we need to talk and come to some sort of understanding or forgiveness.”
“What do you need to forgive me for?” she asked simply. “T’ve done nothing wrong.”
“Alright, I admit what I did today was wrong,” he murmured. She heard the unhappy note in his voice
Her eyes moved to him. “Just today?” she asked right back “Or are you only here because it was all said in front of pack members, and they now see you as the disrespectful one, and so it’s seen that you need to apologize to me?”
She saw anger flash in his eyes. “I don’t really like it when you talk to me like that,” he stated flatly, avoiding her question altogether. He wasn’t going to answer it because she’d hit the nail on the head.
“Hmm, I don’t really like it when you talk down to me,” she countered. “You can reject me at will. Go ahead, I’m
expecting it any day now.”
“What! Why on earth would I do that? We’re Goddess–Gifted, and with our age gap and the way we were raised, which was clearly very different to each other, I feel that we clearly need to work on our bond is all. I’m not so stupid as to think every bond is perfect, Nora.
“Sometimes they take work and a real effort, and I see that is what we need, so that is what I’m here to do.
work on our bond. We were happy once in the beginning.”
“I was, you never were.” She stated simply and turned her eyes back to her laptop.
“What do you mean by that?” he huffed.
“Go away Jace, I have an exam in the morning and need to study for it,” she told him.
“Fine be…” he stopped his own words as he shoved himself up out of the chair.
She snorted at his sudden stopping, “Childish” She finished his sentence for him when he stopped himself from saying it. “Yes, it’s very childish of me to want to study for an exam.” She nodded.

“That is not what I did,” he grated out. “That is where Gloria lives is all

“Yes, Gloria, who is your Luna. Which I will never be the nodded simply 1 am fully aware of that Jace you have made it plainly clear at every single, turn. That it is Gloria you want as your Luna” She looked around the room she was in. “So, I guess this is where be staying while I’m mad about that”
His jaw was ticking away like crazy now, and he turned to leave the room only to stop once again as be realized those doors had locks on them. “Are you freaking kidding me?” he stated. “You would loor me out of a room inside my own suite.” He grated out at her
“Again, if I had a room allocated just for me, I wouldn’t need to do that. Petty I am, it seems, and until you punish that she–wolf, I’m not going to move out of this room. So she shrugged once more. The ball is in your court now.” she stated simply, “You know what to do, to make it up to me, now don’t you” She half
smiled to herself, because she knew that he wasn’t going to do that at all it wasn’t in him to punish the
anto
woman he actually loved.
“Why the hell do you think everything is suddenly funny?” he bit out.
“Because I know you won’t punish her, so I guess I’m staying right here for the foreseeable future.” She looked right at him, “So don’t blame me as to why I’m living in here. Close the door on your way out please,” she stated and turned her eyes back to her study.
He banged right out of the Alpha Suite, and she actually heard him roar in frustration right before it closed. and she burst out laughing in that new study. “Yes, I am going to be more than a pain in your ass until “She murmured into the room.
He did not like not getting his way and he was only now just realizing he wasn’t actually going to be able to get what he wanted from her. Yes, she was certain that they’d been raised very differently as well. In all likelihood, he grew up inside this very pack where his father had a Mate and mistress on the side
Both his parents were deceased. They’d died a long time ago. She didn’t know why he’d just asked her not to speak of it. It was painful for him. She’d accepted his words and let it go, but now she wondered if his mother or father had killed each other, if his learned behavior of having a mate and mistress stemmed from all he
saw growing up.
So, he thought that what he was doing to her was completely acceptable. Everyone here just accepted it as well. It was the only reasonable assumption she could come up with for all she’d heard and seen.
She looked at him when he walked into her room a few hours later and just picked up her luggage and
stalked off with it. the frowned and wondered if he was moving her out, but she heard no door
he stalked out of the Alpha Suite, He came back and stared at her. Tye asked Glors to move out of H and find somewhere else to live, Happy now?”
She rated an eyebrow at him. “Where are my things?” she asked.
“In our walk in, where they should always be “He pointed right of her “That is where they will stay. This is not a battle you will win. I’m not going to reject you So, stop asking me to.” and then he was gone.
She snorted and shook her head. Yes, lay the law down on one already mad. She got up and calmly retrieved her clothes and suitcases and returned them to her study room. A battle she couldn’t win? Did he still think that just because he was Alpha blooded he could tell her what to do?
Moving Gloria out of that room was not a punishment, though it would likely tick the b*th off. That also amused her. She strolled downstairs to get dinner and got the filthiest look off Gloria, “you’ve not won. Gloria shot down the mind–link to her.
‘I didn’t do anything, and I told you just this morning you could have him. I actually meant that, I really did. He is all yours Gloria, be my guest. Go f**k him all you like, get pregnant and give him an heir. It’ll just show this pack and all your allies he’s not worth his bloodline, she stated as she continued to walk by.
She got nothing back from Gloria but felt a bit of confusion come from her about Nora’s new–found attitude, but she wasn’t going to fight for something that wasn’t worth it in the end. Gloria was always going to be here, and she’d never trust him ever again, not unless that she–wolf was banished, and she knew that Jace was never going to banish her. Even then would she trust him not to just find another… No.
