Eliza hadn’t expected Nolan to keep completely silent the entire time inside.

The look in Nolan’s eyes carried a trace of grievance, as if declaring his innocence.

Hearing him, Eliza finally exhaled in relief. “I thought you’d fallen for it.”

“But I’ve heard their male technicians have a good reputation.”

“They didn’t assign me a male technician. Maybe because they could tell you’re so handsome that even if they paraded every one of their men in front of me, I wouldn’t look twice.”

Nolan truly was the pinnacle of good looks. Anyone who had seen him wouldn’t care for another man afterward.

That was why the manager had arranged a female technician for Eliza.

But what went on in the men’s section, Eliza didn’t know.

Her eyes lingered on the brooch in Nolan’s hand. More than anything, she wanted to see what the miniature camera had captured.

When they returned home, Eliza immediately transferred the footage onto the computer.

Over three hours of recording.

The men’s area looked far more luxurious than the women’s. The dim lighting gave it an air of mystery, a setting designed to stir the imagination.

The rooms appeared spotless. Then came the technicians, one after another, dressed in white qipao–style gowns with sheer overlays.

Each wore a veil, hiding her face, but every pair of eyes was alluring.

Eliza stared, stunned.

She never imagined anyone could cover so much ground in just ten minutes.

And he hadn’t come back empty–handed. The second floor yielded nothing unusual, but the fifth had several suspicious rooms.

They were empty, yet each door bore a “Reserved” sign.

Clearly, certain clients used them regularly. Even if those clients didn’t show, the rooms remained unavailable to anyone else.

“Today, the manager told me that many celebrities come here for maintenance. And he said the treatment I asked about requires spending over five million first.”

Eliza turned to Nolan. “Do you think those celebrities are coming here for the anti–aging project?”

“Very few places offer it. We can have Soren investigate.”
