Wendy merely raised a brow. “Very well. I’ll have someone bring Vivian down.”

At her signal, the servants hurried upstairs.

When Vivian heard Cramer had come himself, she quickly adjusted her appearance.

“He came to take me home personally?”

“Yes, miss. It seems Mr. Cullinan truly cares for you.”

Even the maid smiled with joy on her behalf.
