Narissa pulled out the top–grade medicine she always carried and treated Seahorse’s injuries again.

She said, “Don’t worry. I won’t let anyone discover who I am.

“Even if they do, it doesn’t matter. If the higher–ups or my family refuse to accept me, I won’t care.

“But to me, you all are my most important family. We swore to always be family, no matter what.”

“Yes!” he nodded with determination.

They never should have doubted Narissa’s feelings for them.

Seahorse felt that he was really out of line.

Narissa took off her outer jacket and gave it to Seahorse.

Seahorse got to his feet and shook his head hard.

“We’re getting out of here together!” he insisted.

“Do as I say. Get out now,” she ordered.

“No way. I can’t just leave you behind, boss,” Seahorse said firmly.

Narissa’s gaze turned icy as she spoke, “Are you ignoring my orders now? Leave.

“Don’t hold me back. Just follow the markers I left, and you’ll get out safely. I’ll keep them distracted here.”

“But…” Seahorse hesitated.

“No buts. Go. That’s an order!” she snapped.

Seahorse knew Narissa well. If he hesitated any longer, he’d just be letting her risk go to waste.

“Alright, I’ll wait for you outside,” he said.

Seahorse quickly threw on the jacket and followed the markers Narissa had left, making his way out.

Bastien straightened his collar with a graceful motion, then waved his hand elegantly.

“Operation Fox Hunt, commence!” he commanded.

“Yes!” Dozens of soldiers sprang into action, quickly getting ready for battle as they followed Bastien toward the interrogation room.

At this moment, the base members stationed near the interrogation room had already blocked off its only entrance in advance.

“Mr. Harlow, Fox should be inside,” the squad leader at the blockade hurriedly reported as soon as he saw Bastien approaching.
