Outside of lessons, there was a whole bunch of extra training too, from handling all kinds of weapons to driving pretty much anything with wheels.
To be a pro agent, they had to be a total jack–of–all–trades.
Since they were the cream of the crop, they had to go through the most hardcore, all–around training imaginable.
Only then would they have enough tricks up their sleeves to survive whatever missions got thrown their way.
After lunch, the five of them headed to the training field to wait. Alina was already there, having finished a quick set of
exercises.
Narissa glanced over at her.

As a seasoned agent, Narissa could tell that Alina definitely had skills, but her personality just didn’t fit the agent life at all.
Her standoffish attitude would seriously mess with team dynamics.
Agent missions weren’t about going solo–they were all about teamwork.
Alina was too much of a lone wolf, and that kind of attitude wouldn’t get her far in this line of work.
At best, she’d only be trusted with the simplest, most basic missions.
Before long, the agent instructor showed up.
He was a seasoned pro, with years of experience under his belt.
As soon as he arrived, he led everyone to the classroom for a lesson on disguise and impersonation.
He said, “Alright, everyone, today we’re focusing on disguise and impersonation.
“First, we’re going to watch a video.

“After that, you’ll have to recreate the disguises you see and mimic the characters‘ expressions, movements, and all the little details.
“The highest level of disguise is a perfect one–to–one match. Let’s see if you’ve made any progress in this area.”
As soon as the instructor came in, he laid out the task.
Since Narissa was new, the instructor took advantage of the time while the others were watching the video to give her some individual pointers on the side.
“For now, just watch from the side and observe. Take this chance to see how they handle disguises and mimicry,” he told her.
Narissa didn’t say a word–she simply did as she was told.
Once the video finished playing, everyone began working on their disguises and transformations.
There were two people in the video–a man and a woman–so all they had to do was choose which character to imitate based on their gender.

Chapter 116
Narissa stood off to the side and observed, while the instructor made his rounds, giving pointers and advice to each person.
Alina was having some trouble with her makeup, so the instructor went over to give her some hands–on guidance.
He said, “You should apply a bit more makeup here to make it look more convincing, or it won’t resemble the character well enough.”
Seeing this, Narissa spoke up. “If you arch the eyeliner a bit higher, it’ll look even more convincing.”
As soon as Alina heard that, she blew up.
She asked, “Who do you think you are, newbie? What gives you the right to question the instructor?”
The instructor was also a bit annoyed.
He’d been in the business for years and had never had his disguise skills questioned before.
He couldn’t believe his ears that a student was calling him out.
But Narissa replied calmly, “I’m just stating the facts. Her face shape can’t be fixed just by forcing the makeup.
“If you try to mold it by force, the whole disguise will just fall apart. Forget fooling people who know her–even our own team wouldn’t buy it.”
That only made Alina even angrier. “What are you trying to say? You think my face can’t be disguised or something?
“Since you’re such an expert, why don’t you do it yourself? I don’t believe you can actually pull off a miracle here.”
Actually, the woman the girls had to imitate this time was a foreigner.
Foreigners had super–defined features, and pulling off a 360–degree transformation with no weak spots really took some serious skill.
But Alina was still a newbie at this, so of course she wasn’t anywhere near mastering it yet.
For Narissa to call out her mistakes and even say the instructor was wrong, it was basically picking on her on purpose.
She could not just let that slide.
But instead of backing down, Narissa walked right up to Alina. “A real disguise doesn’t need a bunch of fancy makeup tricks.
“All you need is to understand facial structure and how to use makeup to change it.”
With just a few effortless touches, Narissa completely transformed the shape of Alina’s face.
The two sides of her face looked like they belonged to two totally different people.
Skye and the others gave up on their own disguises and crowded around to watch the spectacle.
Skye exclaimed, “Oh my god, how did she do that? She didn’t use any prosthetics or special effects makeup, and still managed to pull this off?
“If I hadn’t seen it myself, I never would’ve believed it.
“Seriously, can regular makeup even do that? How did she manage to transform her face into a foreign one?” Cedric’s jaw practically hit the floor.

Narissa kept working, and under her expert hands, the half of Alina’s face she worked on now looked identical to the foreign woman in the video.
Even from the side, people couldn’t spot a single flaw.
“It’s like she’s got two completely different faces,” Cedric said, practically bouncing with excitement.
Skye leaned in for a closer look, trying to find any imperfections, but there wasn’t a single thing out of place.
“This isn’t just makeup. This is next–level disguise! And she didn’t even use a prosthetic mask!” Skye exclaimed.
