Chapter 86
Chapter 86
Jaylen couldn’t help but ask, “Narissa, do you know how to fight as well as race?”
Narissa crunched on a chip, then absentmindedly licked her fingers. Jaylen felt his heart skip a beat at how cute she looked.
“I know a thing or two,” she replied offhandedly.
Cressida, who was nearby, overheard and couldn’t help but ask, “Racing? What do you mean?”

Jaylen realized he’d almost blown Narissa’s cover and quickly tried enthusiasts.”
Cressida shot Narissa a look of disdain.
Cressida thought, ‘I can’t believe she has such a bizarre hobby.
‘How embarrassing!‘
After the first match, both principals were left with mixed feelings.
“Looks like Lunaris Academy really came prepared this time, even pulling out all the stops. Are we really Regality Academy muttered.
“Regality Academy really is full of losers. I sent my weakest student out there, and they still won. Does that mean the rest useless?” the other principal sneered.
With the first match over, both teams gained a sense of what the other side was capable of.
After that, the matches started flying by.
The weakest students scrambled to get their turn, since no one expected them to pull off a miracle comeback anyway.
They would get knocked out first.
Both Regality Academy and Lunaris Academy wanted to send the weaklings in first.
After all, what mattered was the total number of wins–every win counted at this stage. The real fight was still ahead.
In the blink of an eye, over twenty matches had come and gone.
The two teams were pretty evenly matched, with the wins and losses almost even.

But the weaker students were totally spent, too exhausted to keep going. They had no choice but to sit out and nurse their wounds on the sidelines.
“Finally, it’s our turn,” Miranda said, standing up.
Cressida stood up as well.
“Go for it, Miranda” Cressida said.
“Relax. I’m not like those losers who can barely win a single match. With me here, I’m good for at least two wins!” Miranda replied confidently.
Miranda was pretty skilled. She knocked her opponent flat in just a few moves.
Then she asked to stay in and fight another round.
The students from Regality Academy went wild, waving their flags and shouting for her.
Miranda lived up to expectations and took down her second opponent, too.
That fired up the whole Regality Academy.

Miranda was clearly running on fumes in her third fight, buts to some quick thinking and a stroke of luck, she managed to scrape
out another win.
That was unbelievable.
Her teammates from Regality Academy totally lost it
with excitement.
After all, Lunaris Academy hadn’t produced anyone who could pull off three wins in a row like Miranda.
Miranda was totally spent, so she gave up on the fourth match and stepped down.
But everyone still went wild celebrating her wins.
Shanna watched with obvious jealousy. “What are you all so happy about? Lunaris Academy hasn’t even strength yet.
“We’re just letting you have your little moment. Just wait–you’ll be the ones crying soon!”

Miranda shot back with a sneer, “Oh yeah? If you’re so tough, why don’t you get up there and show us you can win three
“I’m not going to waste my time arguing with you. Just wait, you’ll see what I can do,” Shanna said, strutting off with her group.
Miranda, surrounded by her cheering teammates, returned to her seat.
She caught sight of Narissa slouching with a laid–back attitude, and instantly felt irritated.
Miranda snapped, “Narissa, you saw my matches, didn’t you? Last time, you only beat me because you caught me off guard.
“But this time, it’s in front of everyone–let’s see what tricks you can pull now.
“You’re finished!”
Narissa didn’t even spare Miranda a glance. With a flick of her wrist, she crumpled up her chip bag and tossed it straight into a trash can more than 30 feet away.
‘So cool!‘ someone couldn’t help but think.
A few girls were instantly blown away by Narissa’s badass move.
Miranda saw this and was so pissed she couldn’t even get a word out.
Just then, the next match started.
To everyone’s surprise, Shanna actually stepped up to compete.
Everyone was sick of Shanna–especially Cressida, who was dying to see her get her butt kicked up there.
But things turned out completely differently. Shanna blew everyone away by taking down three opponents in a row.
