Cressida shouted, “Narissa, this is all your fault! If you hadn’t insisted on provoking Shanna, we wouldn’t be getting totally destroyed by such a strong opponent.”

“That’s right! You’re the disgrace of Regality Academy!” Miranda snapped at Narissa.

The others didn’t want to be blamed for Regality Academy’s loss, so they all followed Cressida’s lead and pinned everything on Narissa, treating her as the real culprit behind their defeat.

As the crowd’s hostility grew, Jaylen finally snapped. “Shut up, all of you!

Seeing Jaylen still sticking up for Narissa, Cressida’s resentment only grew. “Alright then, if it’s not her fault, shouldn’t she get up there and fight too?”

A person agrred, “Yeah! She hasn’t even gone up once. So many people got hurt because of her. She’s the one who should be taking her turn getting beaten up now.”

Another person said, “Maybe after he’s done beating her up, he’ll go easier on the rest of us.”

These selfish people only cared about how to avoid getting hurt themselves. None of them cared that Narissa was just a newbie who had only just joined the training program.

Jaylen felt that she probably wasn’t even a real beginner yet.

Jaylen stepped in front of Narissa, shielding her. “That’s enough! She’s just a newbie. How can you expect her to get in the ring? Are you trying to send her to her death?”

“Narissa, didn’t you say I wasn’t good enough? So what about you? Do you dare get up there and fight?” Cressida knew Jaylen was protecting Narissa, so she could only try to provoke her into stepping up.

“Jaylen, are you out of your mind? You’ve already fought so many rounds!” Cressida, worried about him getting hurt, couldn’t help but shout.

Part of her honestly wanted to see Narissa embarrass herself in front of everyone.

But at the same time, she couldn’t help but worry, ‘What if Narissa actually got seriously hurt, or even died out there?

Narissa walked up to the ring, one steady step at a time.

She casually tied her hair into a ponytail with a rubber band, her innocent face tinged with a playful smile and a trace of mockery.

Right in front of Reese, she even rolled her neck a little, loosening up.

Then she pulled a pair of black gloves from her pocket and slipped them on with a graceful, almost nonchalant air.

She radiated poise and unshakable composure. She was completely fearless.

As Narissa laced her fingers together to adjust her gloves, she suddenly looked up and locked eyes with Reese.
