Narissa’s light and unhurried voice floated into everyone’s ears–plain and unremarkable at first, yet carrying a fierce force that shook the whole room.

Everyone present froze in shock, momentarily stunned.

When they finally processed what she’d said, the place erupted into chaos.

A deafening roar swept through the crowd, filling the air.

A person said, “Is Narissa out of her mind? If she wants to get herself killed, she doesn’t have to drag Regality Academy down with her!”

Another asked, “She’s taking on the next 48 matches? Does she really think she can win all 48 by herself? What a joke. Even Jaylen couldn’t pull that off!”

Someone else said, “We’re screwed! She’s just provoked them, and now they’re going to be furious. Regality Academy is doomed.”

Many people started blaming Narissa for her big mouth.

That kind of nerves–like she wouldn’t even flinch if the sky was falling–just made Jaylen and his crew fall for her all over again.

Shanna stepped up to the edge of the spectator railing, closing the distance between herself and Narissa.

She jabbed a finger at Narissa and snapped, “You little bitch, you were dragged out of the trash by the Everton family. How dare you show off in front of Coach Nash?

“Just you wait, you’ll be picking your teeth up off the floor–no, scratch that, you’ll be lucky if you don’t get your arms and legs broken. You’ll be begging for death!”

A person said, “Stop wasting time on this bitch. Let’s get the match started already. I can’t wait to see Coach Nash beat her senseless.”

“However, even Jaylen only managed fifteen matches before he was wiped out. Why don’t you just quit? None of us would ever laugh at you, seriously!”

None of them wanted to see Narissa get hurt.

But Narissa just raised her index finger to her lips, gave Gilbert and Jaylen an enchanting wink, and whispered, “Be quiet. The show is starting.”

The way she smiled, eyes full of mischief and allure, was so mesmerizing that both of them were completely spellbound, forgetting everything else around them.

Even the teacher was so dazzled by Narissa’s beauty that he shut his mouth.

Narissa let her finger fall and spun around to face Reese.
