Dion yanked his arm free right there, in front of everyone.

Nina froze, her face a mix of shock and humiliation. She glanced at Lewis, hoping for some sign of sympathy, but it was like pleading with a stone–he didn’t even acknowledge her.
Seeing the tension, Ronan hurried to smooth things over, forcing a wide smile. “Alright, everyone, let’s move on. Next, we’ll draw lots for your rooms.
“Now, while this is technically a hotel, it’s not like the ones you see in the city. Some rooms are nicer, some are simpler–it’s all down to luck with the draw.”
He glanced around. “Any parents have concerns?”
Everyone shook their heads. No objections.
Athena thought to herself, So it really was down to luck. Whatever room we get, that’s what we’ll have. If we’re unlucky, there’s nothing we can do.
She hoped fortune would favor them this time.
Then a sharp voice cut through the air. “I have an objection!”
All eyes turned toward the speaker. It was Lewis.
His face was stony, his tone arrogant. “Families stay together in the rooms, right?”
Ronan blinked, caught off guard. “Yes, of course. Each family shares a room. It helps build bonds with the children.”
He had no idea why Lewis asked this question. It seemed like a given.
Lewis’s response was cold and sudden. “No! I demand separate rooms!”
The other families exchanged stunned looks.
Is this guy serious? Since when do husbands and wives demand separate rooms on a family trip?
Athena almost rolled her eyes. Lewis could act out however he wanted–she just didn’t see why everyone else had to suffer through it.
Nina, of course, understood perfectly.
He couldn’t stand the idea of Athena and Zaden sharing a room, so he was boldly trying to force this demand.

Seeing how much Lewis still cared and obsessed over Athena twisted Nina’s heart with jealousy
and resentment.
Ronan clearly didn’t know how to handle it, and with the livestream running, the pressure was only worse.
He even wondered what the viewers were thinking right now.
He gave an awkward laugh, about to try to talk Lewis down.
But a low, magnetic voice cut in first. Zaden’s gaze was unreadable as he said, “Mr. Belmont, is there any reason for that request? Or perhaps …
“1
He paused, letting the words hang, then continued slowly, “… some difficulty you don’t feel like sharing?”
Ronan jumped in, trying to defuse the tension. “Yes, yes, Mr. Belmont, if there’s a difficulty, we can work around it. Do you not want to stay with Mrs. Belmont?”
Lewis’s face went rigid.
Nina, meanwhile, felt humiliated to the core.
Her own husband refused to share a room with her–how was she supposed to face anyone
after that?
Recently, she had been trying to use her title as Mrs. Belmont to worm her way into Vlephia’s elite social circle.
But so far, her efforts had barely gotten her anywhere; most people weren’t interested in spending time with her.
She blamed Athena for tarnishing her image.
And now, with Lewis openly showing his disgust, that would only make everyone else avoid her
even more.
Lewis ground his teeth. “Doesn’t matter. The rooms must be split! Not just for me–for everyone!”
Ronan’s patience thinned. He was getting fed up with Lewis’s nonsense.
He said firmly, “Mr. Belmont, the rooms have already been assigned. When you registered for
camp, you agreed to follow the program. I expect your cooperation.”
