Chapter 238 All for Her Daughter

When Nina heard what Lewis said, jealousy flickered in her eyes.

He never had any patience for kids-always distant and irritable, even with Dion. But now, he actually cared about Athena’s daughter.

How could she not be jealous? How could she not hate it?

Nina was still fuming. She had already taken Lewis away from Athena, but somehow it felt like karma had turned on her.

Lewis seemed even more obsessed with Athena now, like he just couldn’t move on.

Her voice turned cold. “Lewis, I already told you. As long as you stay with me, I’ll give her back.”

Lewis’ jaw tightened as he snapped, “What do you want?”

She smirked. “I want you to fix our marriage and tell everyone I’m your wife. Stop running back to Athena.”

His face darkened immediately. Watching her smirk, he almost lost control, wanting to choke her, but he forced himself to calm down.

After a long silence, he finally said, “Fine, we’ll get back together. But I’m not making it public.”

Nina was somewhat unwilling.

Why could he publicly announce his reunion with Athena earlier, but not with her?

Did Athena mean that much more to him?

Nina knew Lewis only agreed because she cornered him. If she pushed harder, he might snap, and then she’d lose her hold on him completely.

Getting their marriage restored came first. That was all that mattered.

She finally nodded. “Alright. Then go handle it now!”

Lewis gritted his teeth. “It’s already late. I’ll do it tomorrow.”

She frowned. “Fine, but you’re not going anywhere tonight. You’re staying here.”

He took a deep breath.

He checked the time. If he rushed back to the event now, most of the guests would already be

gone. Even if he announced his reunion with Athena, it wouldn’t make much difference.

Besides, he’d already met with Zaden earlier. That alone had let him vent some of his

anger.

If Athena wanted to see her daughter, where was he supposed to find one for her right now?

For now, he’d better keep Nina calm and focus on finding Anna first.

Zaden brought Athena to a quiet villa. She followed, nervous but curious about the “show” he’d mentioned.

The place looked abandoned, the furniture covered with a thin layer of dust. Athena frowned. “Zaden, why are we here? If there’s nothing important, I’m leaving.”

She was worried Lewis might come back and go crazy if she wasn’t there. If he did something to her daughter, she couldn’t live with it.

“Relax,” Zaden said coolly. “Lewis hasn’t gone

How does he even know that?

back yet.”

He took her hand and led her upstairs. There, in front of a floor-to-ceiling window, stood a telescope aimed at the neighboring house.

“Take a look,” Zaden said, motioning for her to look.

Athena bent down curiously.

The moment she saw through the telescope, her eyes widened in shock.

It was Nina and Lewis!

She couldn’t hear their voices, but she saw Nina leaning close to Lewis, and he wasn’t pushing her away. From this distance, she couldn’t make out their faces, but their body language said enough.

They looked intimate.
